Scene Breakdown:As we start doing run-throughs staying organized in rehearsals can be overwhelming. What side of the stage do I enter? Exit? What costume am I wearing? Do I have any props? The list goes on and on. If you don't have a photographic memory its hard to remember ALL the things! So, our very own Cassie created this nifty document that helps you organize what you need to remember and when! Please print and fill it out to help keep you organized in the weeks to come!
Here's an example of what Cassie's looks like filled out! She highlights the numbers that she's in, writes down which costume she's wearing, and where she's entering and exiting from! This is SO helpful so please use this resource. |
|
Ensemble Numbers |
Here are all the songs that the ensemble is in. If you do not have a script assigned to you please print this off and bring to rehearsals. It's a great resource to have to take notes and make notations regarding music and staging.

Set Building |
Attention set builders and painters!
If you would like to help build and paint the set this year you are welcome to join Mr. Menkis and the set building crew on Tuesdays and a few select Saturdays! This year we will be building a castle, towers, and village. If you are handy with tools or a brush, come out and help! (No previous experience required!) On Tuesdays we will meet at 3:30 in the upper school art room, and on Saturdays we will meet down by the soccer field. Please consider coming to help out, even if you can only stay for part of the time! (Only attend if you are not called for rehearsal.) Below is a list of dates and times for set building: Please notify Mr. Menkis if you'll be attending prior to the date/time. |
REHEARSCORE! |
Rehearscore is available for download for smart devices! What is rehearscore? It's a nifty application that allows students to practice the music with accompaniment in their spare time. You can adjust the voice parts and listen to yours or cut them all out and just work with the accompaniment! It's a fantastic resource for ALL cast members!
Here's how to do it:
